The Planetoid Hope is truly a unique destination in the Draco Tao galaxy and stands as a monument to its creator, Jadelyn Rensyn, the famous architect from the Imperium home world of Solum. Terraformed according to Rensyn’s exact instructions it was built to mimic ancient earth from the 20th century of which Rensyn was obsessed.
Hope is also the location of the infamous foothold disaster where it came under Clan control in 2261. It remained in Clan control, even for some time after the Armistice treaty in 2270. It was eventually abandoned in 2375 and sat uninhabited for two decade until in 2401 it was used to exile roughly 400 unsanctioned androids.
Humanities home world in the Vigilem galaxy, Pilam is located in the Arius system. The planet is lush and rich in resources and currently home to 2 billion humans. After its establishment in 2280 the Scientia population of Pilam and Vigilem stole influence over the new galaxy away Imperium leaders in Draco Tao.
Pilam is not only the seat of Scientia power, it was also the location of the first ever human/alien peace summit when in 2299 the Cirecidus and Cysti appeared in orbit around the planet.
Braveheart is a small independently governed moon orbiting the Planet Sentina in the New Heaven System. It is considered one of the most successful terraforming ventures ever completed and a favored destination for affluent travelers in Draco Tao. Primary a resort colony built for Sentina, Breaveheart also exports agriculture and water to Sentina and Hope. It is also known to supply fine wines and delicacies to Imperium elite throughout the galaxy.
Solide is a moon orbiting the 4th planet in the Sol system of Draco Tao. It was founded as a secret outpost during the Gaian war on Earth and was the staging ground for the Pangaean liberation and birth place of the Brotherhood of Sol.
The moon is rich in ores and natural resources used for the production of military technologies. The entire western hemisphere of Solide is essentially a massive weapons manufacturing facility producing guns, armor, and vessels.
It is also the seat of power for the Brotherhood Command and the central weapons manufacturing and shipyard for the Brotherhood Ferrum.
After more than 3 billion humans fled the Milky Way in 2179 they settled on a new home world in another galaxy 61 billion light years away in the Draco Tao galaxy. Solum and it’s moon of Solide were the hub of human expansion in Draco Tao and eventually into Vigilem.
Sentina is the principle planet in the New Heaven System. Established in 2238 it is one of the oldest colonized planets in Draco Tao. Dry with very little atmosphere it orbits tightly to the systems brown dwarf Hades. Despite the hostile environment, Sentina is home to roughly 30 million people living in the massive dome of Congress City. There are also numerous settlements on Sentina, mostly mining collectives located in the northern hemisphere.
Located in the Vigilem galaxy the planet Didymus is home to the Pelarian species. A peaceful humanoid race, they are technologically advanced, having space travel and some knowledge of the existence of other alien species.
In 2250 Didymus was caught in the path of a freak meteor storm resulting in multiple large surface impacts. Luckily no major population centers suffered a direct hit however there are concerns about the dust and debris launched into the upper atmosphere from the impacts.
Dust and fallout from meteor impacts have a larger environmental effects than the Pelarian scientific community had first speculated. Sharp declines in crop yields are cause for concern, as well as a rise in respiratory and immune health issues globally, have scientist scrambling for answers. Eventually Pelarian scientist determine that the climatic changes, and recent significant increases in seismic activity, are due to changes in the planet core causing polar magnetic fluctuations.
In 2342 Scientist researching the causes of the drastic environmental changes on Didymus make a startling discovery. The planets core is indeed being changed but the cause is no longer a matter of academic speculation. The discovery of a vast network of machined tunnel reveals an alien technology buried deep below the planet surface. This alien hardware is using the planets core to power some massive machine that is devouring the planets raw resources from the inside out. It is believed that the meteors that had bombarded the planet years prior were actually the seeds for whatever this thing was.
After the discovery of a massive alien machine devouring the heart of their planet, several attempts are made by the Pelarian militaries to stop the alien technology and eventually the mysterious invaders respond. Hordes of mechanical creatures erupt enmass from the impact craters formed almost a century prior. The mechanized plague spreads across the planet devouring resources and slaughtering the Pelarian population.
In a mere matter of months the surface of Didymus is stripped clean of resources and life. The Pelarian population is decimated by this nightmarish alien threat and those that escaped into orbit, and to their moon, are last of their race.
Elysium is a lush garden planet located in the Calico System in the Vigilem galaxy. It is the only known habitat for the Epensia plant which is valuable as an effective treatment for a terrible epidemic known as Barros Disease.
Elysium was first discovered when the Brotherhood surveyed the Calico System after establishing a listening post but the discovery of the Epensia plant brought much attention to the planet.
Since its discovery the Epensia plant has been highly sought after by outside interests including the Pirate Clans which uses the plant to make the narcotic Maxout. They have since found away to synthesize the drug which makes it more dangerous to the user but doesn’t require the use of the Epensia plant so pirate activity has decreased in the system.
In addition to the Epensia plant, Elysium is home to several new alien life forms, planet life and the site of a civilization that appears to have vanished over 100 years ago.
